Today I'll be posting my first book review on this blog, something that I do a lot on my other blog Etherealm. I love reading and I thought it would be fun to do book reviews on this blog. So, today I'll be reviewing Percy Jackson's Greek Gods by Rick Riordan.

I'm a bit late on this review because this book came out in August but I only received it a couple weeks ago because I ordered it at the same time as The Blood Of Olympus. This book was really funny and so enjoyable to read. I love hearing from Percy and about the Greek Gods through his point of view. The artwork in the book was absolutely beautiful and I just loved this book so much. It's a really big book and I have it displayed on my bookshelf as you can see in the picture above.

I was so happy to read this book after finishing the final book in The Heroes of Olympus Series, which concludes our adventures with Percy. ;_; Thank goodness this isn't the last time we'll be hearing from Percy. I'm so excited for Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes which is coming out next year on Percy's birthday. :D Percy Jackson and the Olympians will always be one of my favorite series ever and Percy being my favorite heroine in all the fictional lands.

So this was my short and quick review. If you haven't read it, go read it! It's a really nice book. ;)

Hi everyone

Today I'll be doing a review on the Skinfood Omija Whitening Tea Toner. I haven't been using this toner to see results but it does remove dirt and makeup quite well. It claims to whiten the skin but I haven't noticed any changes. It has a nice fragrance that isn't too strong. I find that this toner can sting your skin if you use a more abrasive cleanser, but with a mild and gentle cleanser, this toner will work well with it. The toner also comes with this cheek sheet masks that you drench with toner and place over your face.

Overall, I like this toner as it removes dirt on my face and feels very refreshing. I also think the glass packaging is very cute. This toner was about 18 US dollars. I don't think I'll be repurchasing because it didn't do anything special for my skin. I didn't notice it whitening or brightening my face. (skin type: oily, acne prone, pigmentation)

  Hi everyone

This is my dog Gremlin. I've talked about her before on Etherealm but I've never introduced her here on Whimsical Daydreamer. All of the pictures were taken for Etherealm but I decided to put them in this post as well. ^_^

Gremlin is an Affenpinscher dog who is 7 years old. She's a very energetic and excitable little dog. She loves munching on food, going for walks, and getting her belly rubbed. Gremlin loves people and loves getting attention.

I've had Gremlin for three years and she is a very special little dog to me. She's so energetic and always cheers me up when I'm having an off day.
